Family disputes: woman torches husband alive

A woman torched her husband alive over family disputes by splashing petrol on him here in the wee hours Wednesday. According to details, Sumera, stated to be mother of three children hailing from Muhammadpura area of Kotwali police station jurisdiction, troubled by poverty and miseries of the life sprinkled petrol at her husband, named Arshad, and set her on fire.
As a result of fire 90 per cent body of the victim was burnt resulting in his death. On the other hand, the alleged killer of husband, Sumera is telling a very different story that her husband, Arshad, was fed up of poverty and after failing to get any job and feed the family, he committed suicide. The police have collected proofs from the spot of poor man's death and launched interrogation from alleged killer wife.
