Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Labour, Industries and Technical Education, Bakht Baidar, has asked federal government to take up the matter of unjustified harassment of expats Pakistanis diplomatically with Saudi Arabian authorities to stop the expulsion of Pakistani workers and remove the prevailing concern among their families and relatives.
He expressed these views while talking media after hearing public grievances here at Chakdara, Dir Lower on Wednesday. The provincial minister said that expats Pakistanis of Saudi Arabia are earning foreign exchange for the country adding the receipts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa largely depend on the remittances of these overseas Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states.
He demanded of the federal government for taking up the issue with Saudi Authorities on priority basis to stop the unjustified expulsion of Pakistani workers. On this occasion, the provincial minister said that the provincial government is making progress in better manner and all coalition partners are united on the agenda of positive change and permanent resolution of the problems of the people.
He said that an industrial estate will be established at Chakdara, district Lower Dir. He said that an amount of Rs 200 million had already been allocated for the scheme while keeping in view the requirements of the modern era besides the establishment of one each vocational centre for boys and girls a working focus grammar school will also be established soon.
The provincial minister said that people have mandated them on the slogan of bringing positive change and will make all possible effort for the abolition of the sense of deprivation of the people. He said that the people will soon feel change and Qoumi Watan Party (QWP) will play due role for the achievement of the rights of Pakhtuns as per their manifesto.
