A passer-by on Friday sustained injuries when armed assailants hurled a hand grenade at Aram Bagh Furniture Market. According to police and rescue sources, armed riders lobbed a hand grenade at the furniture market and sped away. A passer-by Fazal-ur-Rehman sustained injuries. Following the attack, tension prevailed in the area. Later, the Bomb Disposal Squad collected evidence from the scene for forensic examination. Police suspected that the motive behind the incident was extortion.
