12 factories sealed for gas theft

A special team of Sui gas conducted raids in various areas of Lahore, Multan and Sheikhupura and sealed 12 factories for gas theft while cases have been registered against them in the concerned police stations. According to SNGPL officials Irfan Steel R-R Mills, Imran Nimko, Golden Nimko, Domestic Network, Chaudhry Faqir Hussain Ceramic Factory, Hameed Water Heating Factory and Malik Chand Water Heating Factory of Lahore were found involved in gas theft.
These factories were getting gas directly from the main line. The raiding teams sealed these factories and cases have been registered against the owners. While Afzal and Tariq of Sheikhupura and Waheeda Rani and Maqsood Ahmed of Multan were found using domestic connections for commercial purposes.
