Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan will pay a two-day visit to Karachi from Monday to review the precarious law and order situation in the mega city. According to details, the Interior Minister will hold meetings with Provincial Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on the law and order situation in Sindh in general and Karachi in particular.
Sources said while the Interior Minister will assure full support of the Federal Government to the Governor and Chief Minister for improvement in the law and order situation, he would make it clear that no leniency would be tolerated towards the criminal elements. He will also be chairing some meetings on the law and order situation. According to Interior Ministry sources, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan will get separate briefings from heads of Police, Rangers and sensitive institutions.
