Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday distributed interest-free loan of Rs 3 million among the artisans and skilled persons of metal craft at Central Secretariat of PML-N at Model Town. Addressing the function, Hamza said that the aim of extending interest-free loan to skilled youth is to encourage preparing of various products from metal and save it from ruination.
As many as 19 skilled persons of metal crafting were given interest-free loan of Rs 100,000 to Rs 200,000. Hamza said that metal craft is an important field of skill and art as millions of people earn their livelihood through this art. He said that Punjab government intends to immediately give it status of industry. He said that the artisans and skilled persons of metal craft would be provided training inside and outside the country so that their skill could be improved and this deteriorating sector could be strengthened.
The PML-N leader said that the young artisans should fully benefit from the interest-free loans for strengthening metal crafts. He advised them to work hard and should not only become the source of prosperity of their family by expanding their business but also win laurels for the country and the nation. He said that every good and practicable suggestion for the uplift of metal craft sector would be welcomed. Hamza Shahbaz said that youth doing limited business can fully benefit from the interest-free loan scheme of Chief Minister for starting their business.
