An elderly distressed mother of one Zain Khan, resident of Shahi Bala, Peshawar, demanded of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak to help recover her kidnapped son allegedly picked-up by police personnel. Addressing at a news conference on Saturday here at Press Club, the elderly villager Jamshed Bibi resident of Shahi Bala village located at Warsak road, informed that her son Zain Khan was imprisoned for several years in central prison Peshawar in a murder case.
She added that on June 27 last, he was released after reaching at a reconciliation agreement with opponents, but the local police personnel again picked him up from the main gate of central prison and shifted to an unknown place. She lamented that they belong to a poor family and haven't any enmity with any other person, except the one which was resolved through mediation and reached a reconciliation agreement.
Accompanied by five children of her kidnapped son Khan, Jamshed Bibi alleged that the police officials and concerned personnel at the Central Prison were involved in the kidnapping of her son and are responsible for it. "What was the sin of my son she wept and asked the rulers during a press conference? She also appealed Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (PHC) Justice Dost Muhammad Khan to take notice of the illegal picking up of peaceful citizens with the hands of police personnel and ensure the safe and early recovery of her son Zain Khan.
