The GC University Faisalabad has launched the MPhil and MS programme at its Layyah campus in order to provide an opportunity of quality education to the inhabitants at their door steps. The launching of programmes was inaugurated by GC University Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Zakir Hussain at the Video Conference Hall. The programmes include MPhil (English), MPhil (Education) and MS (Management Sciences).
Addressing the students and faculty members of Layyah campus on video conferencing, the GCUF Vice Chancellor said it is need of the hour to provide state-of-the-art education to the people living in far-flung areas of the country. The university was taking all possible measures in this regard, he said, adding that the Layyah campus and distance learning programmes are the ample example of the said measures. He told the audience that Pakistan is blessed with the talented people. But the literacy rate in the country is low compared to the developed nations, hampering the process of proving our mettle across the globe.
