LDA demolishes illegal constructions

Staff of the Town Planning Wing of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) demolished as many as seven illegal constructions along Canal Road, Harbanspura, and in Gulberg besides sealing another two, on Friday. According to LDA's spokesperson, the LDA staff demolished the commercial building next to PSO pump Harbanspura, first floor of illegal under-construction building at Ghazi Abad near Taj Pura Scheme, an under-construction illegal workshop near Taj Pura scheme and the second floor of illegal construction near Lal Pul.
In Gulberg area, the LDA staff knocked down illegal constriction on plot number 9 C1 and cleared space for emergency stairs and lift at the site. It also demolished illegally constructed rooms on second floor of plot number 10 T and demolished illegal fence at plot number 96B2. The staff also sealed property number 35 A2 for commercial type addition alteration and property number 24C3 for illegal addition and alteration.
