Former Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani on Friday reached the Supreme Court to express solidarity with the PTI chief Imran Khan in the contempt of court case two days ahead of the hearing on Friday. Raisani with shaved head attracted immediate attention of media and as expected he entertained them a lot with interesting sentences and also read a piece of poetry.
However, to his disappointment, he was not allowed entry into the Supreme Court after which he staged a sit-in on the road to record his protest. He was later allowed to enter the Supreme Court. Raisani told media persons that he arrived at the Supreme Court two hours ahead of Imran Khan to express solidarity with him. He said Imran was an honest and upright person and every politician has the right to make some criticism. He said the Supreme Court should be careful while summoning politicians for contempt of court. To a question, Raisani said Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Maalik Baloch is a popular personality and he lives among the public. However, he said, Dr Baloch will soon realise the pros and cons of the provincial government.
