The District Administration Hyderabad has finalised the arrangements regarding celebration of Independence Day on 14th August with full enthusiasm and decided that main function of flag hoisting ceremony would be organised at ex-Zla Nazim Secretariat where Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Jamal Mustafa Syed to be chief guest.
Presiding over the meeting regarding arrangements of Independence Day celebrations held at ex-Zila Nazim Secretariat. The Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Hyderabad Aijazul Hassan and Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Hyderabad Abid Saleem Qureshi said that the schedule of independence day celebration has been finalised under which the Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Jamal Mustafa Syed to hoist the national flag at ex-Zla Nazim Secretariat at 9 am on 14th August, 2013. This will be followed by the national songs, tableaus by the students. Those who have topped in SSC-II Annual Examination 2012 would be awarded with certificates, they added.
The ADC-I and II directed to the heads of provincial and federal government departments, managements of banks and other autonomous bodies for conducting illumination on their buildings to mark the Independence Day.
Meanwhile, the Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Jamal Mustafa Syed has informed that Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has ordered two inquiries into the matters each of chocking of Liaquat Colony Nula Hyderabad due to dumping of bags and failure of electricity on wide scale in Hyderabad that causes hindrances in disposal off of rainy water from the localities.
This he said while talking to the official media after attending video conference with Chief Minister Sindh at his office today. He said that the Liaquat Colony Nula was found as chocked and atleast 50 bags have been brought out from the Nula till yet but still there was problem in disposal off water. Similarly the failure of electricity at wide scale in Hyderabad also created hindrances in disposal of rainy water from the urban areas. He said that now these matters are being inquired deeply to ascertain the causes and responsibilities of the concerned and to know as to why such situation arisen.
Responding a question, the Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad said that situation was now improving water has been decreased / disposed off from various localities and hopefully it will be improved further within next 24 hours.
