Provincial Minister for Education, Sports and Youth Affairs Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has said that the Punjab government will establish Cricket Museum in a portion of historic Gymkhana Cricket Club Pavilion in Bagh-e-Jinnah Lahore. He disclosed this plan while addressing to the participants of two months cricket training summer camp held at Gymkhana Cricket Ground in which 110 young cricketers of the age limit from 10 to 12 years.
The Minister distributed cash prizes and shields to the young cricketers, their coaches, umpires and the ground men who conducted the summer camp. Chairman Lahore Gymkhana Cricket Club Mian Misbah ur Rehman, Honorary Secretary Javed Zaman Khan and eminent lawyer Rana Asad Ullah Khan also attended the prize distribution ceremony. It was announced on the occasion that Lahore Gymkhana Cricket Club will arrange the similar type of cricket training camp in the Christmas vacations for 15-days.
