Nokia has released an update for its HERE Drive navigation software. It should be of special interest to commuters. The software notes routes frequently taken by a driver and then shows the traffic situation on those avenues. If there's a traffic jam, alternate paths are automatically suggested. New functions include alerts about traffic jams and other problems in the driver's immediate area.
HERE Drive is only available for smartphones using Windows Phone. Additionally, the commercial sat-nav app Drive+ with world-wide directions is no longer only available for Lumis smartphones. For 34.99 euros (46.20 dollars) it can, as of now, also be used on other Windows models.
