Bodies of seven more persons drowned at various places after heavy rains that lashed the city Saturday, were recovered on Monday. According to rescue sources, bodies of two siblings namely Yaseen 22 and Saleem 20 were recovered from Baloch Nullah located at Qayyumabad in the limits of Korangi Industrial Area police station.
Police said the victims were drowned when they were on way to home from work and added that they were the residents of Mehran Town Sector VI. Another body was found from Lyari ravine. Police said the victim was shifted to Edhi Morgue for identification. Body of 10-year-old boy Javeed was recovered near Moti Mehal in the limits of Gulshan-e-Iqbal police station. Two more bodies were found from New Karachi industrial area. Both victims were yet to be identified. Similarly, body of 12-year-old Hassan, son of Abdul Rehman was recovered from Gujjar Nullah located in the Pak Colony police station.
