The Lahore High Court on Wednesday directed a law officer to assist the court on September 09 in a petition challenging appointment of former British national and parliamentarian Chaudhry Sarwar as Governor Punjab. Petitioner, Barrister, Javed Iqbal Jafree, submitted that Chaudhry Sarwar did not have adequate education.
He produced copy of a book `Who is who in UK' containing biography of Chaudhry Sarwar according to which he was a graduate of Faisalabad university. He said that this mere fact was enough to establish that Chaudhry Sarwar was a liar, as in Faisalabad there was not any university at that time.
