Twitterites dish the dirt on Ali Zafar’s old ‘sexist’ tweets
Pakistani renowned singer and actor Ali Zafar, who has worked not just in his native country but also starred in multiple Bollywood projects, was recently accused of sexual harassment by another famous Pakistani singer Meesha Shafi.
In view of these accusations, many twitter users searched and brought up some old eerie tweets by Ali, claiming that the Meesha's allegations might have some heft to them. One of these twitter users was Ali Moeen Nawazish, who is a journalist and a writer and the other one was Reham Khan, the ex wife of PTI leader, Imran Khan.

The ‘Waar’ actress shared her own harassment story in the wake of the #MeToo campaign, claiming that Ali had made sexual advancements of the singer on many occasions. Meesha, who is a mother of two, further said that she has shared the stage with ‘Kill Dill’ actor many a times but has found the courage to speak against him just now.

Ali also issued a statement following these allegations claiming his innocence in the matter.

Social media and the Pakistani media industry are divided in siding with each one of them while many are shaming Meesha for speaking out others extended their support for Ali. Meanwhile, not many of the local celebrities have spoken against or pro any of the singers.
