People believe moon will turn ‘green’ today after 420 years

New reports have been taking the internet by storm regarding today’s appearance of ‘Green Moon’, a phenomena that will reportedly occur after 420 years, however, no one knows if it is true or not.

People believing in the appearance of this Green Moon assert that this event is extremely rare and last took place in 1596. However, experts suggest that this all is just a hoax and there is no such thing as a ‘Green Moon’.

As per The Sun, these reports of Green Moon’s arrival surfaced back in March 2016 but the phenomenon didn’t happen. It is also said this occurrence was last seen over 420 years ago and will now occur today, April 20.

However, people also suggest that this Green Moon is just a made up event that is related to marijuana. The fact that this occurrence takes place after every 420 years is seen as a reference to the 4/20 code for cannabis and is ‘National Weed Day’ celebrated annually on April 20 in the US, wrote Fox News.
