Judge never altered any statement

Reacting to Prime Minister's remarks that a judge altered confessional statement of an accused out of fear, Sindh High Court on Friday examined the record of the concerned court, Aaj News reported. Quoting unnamed sources, the channel said the record of the concerned case was sought and thoroughly examined, following which it emerged that the judicial magistrate never altered any statement.
It was observed that judges in Karachi were deciding cases valiantly and fearlessly, but the government was not playing its role accordingly.
