The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry has decided to observe October 21 as "Complaint Redressing Day" for its members to enable them to do their businesses in an atmosphere conducive for it. The LCCI President Engineer Sohail Lashari while addressing the LCCI Annual General Meeting on September 30 last had promised to start Complaint Redressing Day at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its members.
The LCCI President along with Senior Vice President Mian Tariq Misbah and Vice President Kashif Anwar would be meeting LCCI members from 11am to 1pm at LCCI fourth floor specifically to address their problems being faced by them while carrying out their day-to-day business. The very objective is to encourage the LCCI members to use this platform to get the issues resolved as the LCCI has the capacity and ability to present their case to the concerned authority in a winsome manner, the LCCI President said.
"Quite often it happens that a business or a Trade or Industry Association comes across some problems but does not know as to how and whom the complaint in this regard is forwarded. Therefore, the present management of LCCI has decided to come to their rescue to enable them to continue their businesses with peace of mind." As per the decision, the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry would collect these complaints and after that either concerned authority would invite the LCCI for a meeting with the aggrieved members or would get these complaints resolved through correspondence.
The LCCI president said all forums including electronic or print media would be utilized for the solution of genuine problems of the LCCI members as the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry believes that the private sector is engine of growth and backbone of the economy.
