Little change on grain market

An upward trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of slow trading activity, dealers said. On the seed side, cottonseeds oilcakes with bag Sindh (old) inferior type picked up Rs 50 to Rs 700 and the best type was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 800, cottonseeds oilcakes with bag Sindh were unchanged at Rs 1100-1150, they said.
On the cereals side, wheat old (bardan) appreciated by Rs 20 to Rs 3600, Gur low type rose by Rs 100 to Rs 6500 while the good quality was inert at Rs 7600, they added. Prices showed no change on the rice and grams sector, dealers said.
