The Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Karachi, Shahid Hayat, on Sunday visited the residences of Shaheed Irfan Haider, SHO of Sir Syed Town Police Station, and Sub-Inspector Shahbaz oof New Karachi Police Station A police spokesman said that these police officers had embraced martyrdom in a targeted attack on October 9.
The AIGP Karachi enquired about the well being of the family members of the Shaheed police officers. He also directed the DIG Administration to ensure the provision of admissible facilities to families of the slain police officers at the earliest.
