Government not sincere to resolve drone strike issue: JI

Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan, has said the government does not want to stop the drone attacks as it had not made any serious efforts in that direction. He was addressing a big gathering at the Islamic Centre, Gujrat on Sunday. He said the Muslim armies were cooperating with the enemy in the massacres of the Muslim masses. He said there was none more patriotic than the people of Fata and Waziristan.
Syed Munawar Hasan said, "Situation in Karachi was worse than that of Balochistan as about a dozen people were gunned down there every day. He said recounting of votes in any Karachi constituency would reveal more than fifty percent bogus votes.
The JI Ameer said that the Islamic movements in different Muslim countries were the biggest hurdle in the enforcement of the US New World Order. That was why after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the US think tanks had declared Islam and the Muslims as US's enemy number one, and the Muslims were declared as terrorists in order to check the propagation of Islam in the world.
The US, with the cooperation of 40 Nato countries started the genocide of the Muslims all over the world. Caricatures of the Holy Prophet were prepared and copies of the Holy Quran were set ablaze. Such provocative activities were still going on but the US had not termed these blasphemous actions as terrorism.
On the other hand, the Muslim rulers were competing with one another in demonstrating their loyalty to the US and were blindly supporting each and every American policy, and were trying their best for the success of these policies.
The JI Ameer said that the establishment was upset over the election results because there had been some what overdoing on its part.
He said, in the local bodies elections, the rulers would try to repeat the history but if the masses wanted better education, health and sanitation facilities and more employment, they should foil the rulers' conspiracies and vote for the people who were known for their honesty, sincerity and were competent to resolve their problems.
Syed Munawar Hasan said that Pakistan and some other Islamic countries wanted to abolish death sentence to prove themselves progressive under the western propaganda but every such effort would be strongly resisted.
