Prayers of Eidul Azha and Ijtemahs (gatherings) will be held in hundreds of Mosques and grounds of the provincial capital on Wednesday. Like every year, two major gatherings are expected to take place in the historic Badshahi Masjid and Gaddafi Stadium where Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad and Jamaat-ud Dawa Ameer Hafiz Muhammed Saeed will lead the prayers.
Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad will address the Eid Ijtemha in Badshahi Masjid and lead the prayers at 8:45am. JI Ameer Syed Munawar Hasan will lead the prayers at Mansoora at 8:30am. Hafiz Muhammed Saeed will lead the prayers at Gaddafi Stadium at 7am. Eidul Azha prayers at Jamia Masjid Minhajul Quran will be held at 7:30 and in Jamiaul Minhaj, Baghdad Town (Township), at 8am.
Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran Central Ameer Sahibzada Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani will address the gathering at Jamia Masjid Minhajul Quran and Dr Ghulam Murtaza Alvi will lead the prayers at Jamia Minhajul Quran, Baghdad Town. Qari Mohammed Ahmed Kareem will lead the prayers at Madrassah Taleem-ul-Quran, 31/L, Gulberg II at 8am. In Jamia Masjid Tech Society, opposite Doctors Hospital, Qari Asad Karim will lead the prayers at 8:30am. Qari Muhammad Arshad Karim will lead the prayers at 9:30 am at Jamia Masjid Ibrahim. The gathering will take place in the Main Gulberg Park, backside of MCB Tower.
Munib-ur-Rehman Salim will lead the prayer at Madrassah Umer Farooq, Johar Avenue, Johar Town. The prayer will be held at 8:15am. At Jamia Masjid Jamal Mustafa, situated at 15-A, G 1, Johar Town, Eid ul Fitr Namaz will be offered at 8:15am and Maulana Abdul Hakim Sani will lead the prayers.
Alhaj Sufi Shaukat Ali Qadri will lead the prayers at Jamia Enwar e Madina at TTC Centre. Maulana Saif Ullah Khalid will lead the Eid prayers at Dharampura Bridge Masjid at 7am. Ejaz Ahmed Tanvir will lead the prayers near Niaz Adda. Abul Hashim will lead the prayers at Main Gate, Hajveri Housing scheme, at 7am. Rana Iftikhar Hyder will lead the prayers at 134-E Johar Town. Bashir Ahmed Khaki and Hafiz Ismael Salfi will lead the prayers at Jamia Masjid Ibrahim Ahle Hadis, C 1, Township, at 7am.
At 7am, the prayers will be offered in the mosques and venues of Lahore, including Yakki Gate, Walled City, Pakki Thatti, Bank Stop, Ferozepur Road, Hajveri Housing scheme, Pullee Number 5 near Harbanspura, Amna Park, Hanjarwal, Jamia Masjid Ishaq, Ghoray Shah, Nishtar Colony, Government Degree College, Shahdara Morr, Sheller Chowk, Baghbanpura, MC Girls High School, Kot Khawaja Saeed, Jamia Masjid Taiba Ahle Hadis, Ahmed Yar Block Mustafa Town, Bara Dari Road, Begumpura, Main GT Road Ferozewala near Gourmet Bakers, Jamia Masjid Muhammadi Ahle Hadis Old Bus Stop Sher Shah Colony, Sharifpura Bheeni Road, Daroghawala, Kot Abdul Malik, main Sheikhupura, Dhamkay, Sharqpur Road.
Besides, in Markaz Al Madina, Mohlanwal, Jamia Masjid Bilal, Maraka, Baath, Multan Road, P Block Sabzazar, Markaz al Hadi Allama Iqbal International Airport, Jamia Masjid Riaz-ul-Jannah, Peco Road, Awan Town, Canal Park Murdike, Chowk Shalamar Bagh and Ideal Park, Township, Eid prayers will be offered at 7am. Haji Javed-ul-Hassan will lead the prayers at 6:30 near University Ground, Lake Road, Chuburji at 6:30am and Hafiz Abdul Ghaffar Madni, Maulana Abubakr Zaheer and Maulana Ahmed Saeed Multani will lead the prayers at Moon Market Gulshen Raiv, Markaz Islam, Qainchi, Ferozepur Road and Markaz Al Madina China Scheme, Shadbagh, at 6: 45am.
Prayers at 7: 30 am will be offered at the following Masajids or venues. Co-operative Store, GT Road Garhi Shahu, Markaz Al Badr Mananwala Bhatta Chowk, Masjid Quba Ahle Hadis, Rehanpura, Markaz e Taiba, Murdike. Hafiz Attique ur Rehman will lead the prayers at Government High School Mozong Adda at 8am. Eid prayers will be offered at 8:00 am at Jamia-Mosque Sultanpura, led by Maulana Ali Bahadur Azad. Eid prayers at Hajveri Sceheme and Jamia Mosque Borh Wala Chowk Sultanpura will be offered at 8:00 am.
The sermon at Hajveri Mosque will be delivered by Maulana Haji Mohammad Yousuf Naqshbandi while at Sultanpura by Professor Mohammad Siddique-e-Akbar. Prayers at FCC Scheme number 4 will be offered at 8:30 am. Eid prayers at all DHA Lahore Mosques will be offered at 7:45 am with the exception of Jamia Mosque Phase I, II, III and IV where it will be offered at 8am.
