Pakistan Air Force (PAF) C-130 transport aircraft undertook four more aerial drop sorties of relief goods in earthquake affected area of Awaran, Balochistan. A PAF statement here on Monday said the C-130 aircraft was carrying approximately 48,000 kilograms of goods comprising dry ration (flour, ghee, pulses, rice, dates, biscuits and mineral water) ready-to-eat meals, medicines, blankets and tents to the calamity-hit areas.
It said the PAF transport fleet had already undertaken 18 such aerial missions dropping approximately 110,000 kgs of relief goods in the affected areas. The Air Chief had specific instruction for PAF transport fleet to airlift the relief goods for swift distribution to the earthquake victims, the statement added.
