Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that PML-N's policies and strategies are a guarantee of economic and political stability in the country. He stated this while talking to party workers and different delegations at his residence here on Friday. Asif said the PML-N now had become a symbol of strong and durable democracy in the country which was striving to strengthen true democratic norms and values in Pakistan.
He said that wrong political and economic policies of the PPP plunged the country into several crises, especially the energy crisis. He said now the PML-N was successfully tackling these inherited crises. He said the government was taking some revolutionary decisions for providing maximum relief and opportunities to the people to live a lavished life besides raising their living standard through ensuring an early and smooth provision of all basic facilities at their doorsteps.
Later, talking to the newsmen, the minister said now the PML-N was a guardian of democracy in the country and was striving for rights of the masses. It would never allow any one to derail democracy in the country, as the PML-N would successfully eliminate anti-democracy conspiracies, he added. MNAs Armughan Subhani, Syed Iftikharul Hassan Shah, MPAs Muhammad Mansha Ullah Butt, Arshad Javaid Warraich, and others were also present.
