Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah called on Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan at Governor House on Sunday. Both the leaders discussed law and order situation, local-bodies elections, arrangements for the recently celebrated Eidul Azha and other official matters, a statement issued by the Governor House, said.
Governor and the Chief Minister reviewed the performances of concerned security agencies for ongoing targeted operation against terrorist groups throughout the province, said the statement. They appreciated the arrangements which were made on Eidul Azha and ensured their will to eliminate terrorism that was the top most priority of the current government.
Qaim Ali Shah and Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan also discussed the pace of ongoing development works in the province and decided to speed up the work of all the under-construction projects. Chief Minister apprised the Governor about the steps that had been taken regarding the local bodies polls in the province and told him the measures which were taken to foster the co-ordination among all the stakeholders and address their concerns.
