The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) is organising a four-day Rabi Festival from October 24 to October 27. Colourful events will be held during the festival including agricultural exhibition, farmer convention, cultural programmes, international and national seminars and many more.
The festival is aimed at promoting latest agricultural practices in order to increase the agri productivity. It will also provide an opportunity to the farming community and agricultural experts to sit together and devise a plan in a bid to boost up production.
As per details, on October 24 (Thursday), a seminar on role of rural women in agricultural entrepreneurship will be held at New Senate Hall at 9:00 am and Mehfil-e-Milad at Iqbal Auditorium at 8:00 pm. October 25(Friday) programmes include inauguration of Agricultural Exhibition at D-Ground at 9:00 am; International seminar on climate change and food security at New Senate Hall at 9:30 am; and cultural programme at Iqbal Auditorium at 8:00 pm. October 26 (Saturday) programmes include farmers Convention at Iqbal Auditorium at 11:00 am; Mushaira at 8:00 pm. On October 27 (Sunday), the concluding session will be held at 3:00 pm.
