A man killed his cousin over a marriage dispute in Mid Ranjha police limits on Sunday. According to police, Omar Hayat of Kalakot, Kotmomin, wanted to marry his cousin Sumera of the same village but her parents refused. To which, Omer Hayat shot her dead and committed suicide, police said. The bodies were handed over to the families after post-mortem. Police have registered a case.
