A transport company in collaboration with the private transport operator has commenced mini bus service on B-3 route from Railway Station via Sanda Kalan to Shera Kot. Initially 15 mini buses will be plied on this route having 23 stops while the bus service will not only provide access to the Metro bus stop on its way rather it will facilitate to the people in reaching other parts of the city.
This was stated by Provincial Minister of Food Bilal Yasin after inaugurating new bus service in Sanda Kalan, here on Wednesday. On the occasion, Member Punjab Assembly Majid Zahoor, Chief Operating Officer LTC, Omer Pirzada and other senior officials were also present. Provincial Minister Food has said that present government is doing utmost effort to impart relief to the general public and this is another promise which has been fulfilled by the elected government to the people who are living in this area.
Thereafter, LTC officials briefed the provincial minister about the various initiatives and operational measures in respect of public transport. The total length of this route is 11 kilometre and minimum fare is Rs 16 for the commuters who would avail this transport service.
