The Lahore High Court here on Thursday issued notices to Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) and Sports Board in response to a petition seeking stay against election of the federation. The petitioner, former Olympian Naveed Alam, alleged that the election of the PHF would be rigged massively as both the contenders and the members of the election commission were sitting on high posts of the federation.
The petitioner therefore prayed to the court to direct the respondents to follow rules and regulations before holding the polls, stay the PHF election till the disposal of the petition.
