Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Thursday claimed to have arrested 29 suspects, including Lyari gangsters in separate raids at various parts of the metropolis. According to Rangers official, the targeted raids had been conducted in the areas of Singho Lane - Lyari, Liaqatabad, Jat Lines, Burns Road, Bilal Colony, Khudda Ki Basti, Orangi Town, Al Falah Colony, Landhi, Angarah Goth, Shar Goth, Pehalwan Goth, Korangi Town and Rafah-e-Aam Society. They had also carried out snap checking at Lyari Express Way, Old Muzzaffarabad Colony and Azam Basti areas.
Moreover, he said that during these actions, 29 hardened criminals, including Lyari gang war elements and criminals affiliated with political groups, who were allegedly involved in heinous crimes, have been arrested with huge weapons and hand grenades.
