President PPP Punjab Manzoor Wattoo denied on Thursday any rift within party ranks, saying that the party was yet united and he was stressing party elections to strengthen political system of the country. He was reacting to the statement of former Parliamentary leader of PPP Raja Riaz who had suggested removal of sitting opposition leader Mehmood-ur-Rashid of PTI in the Punjab assembly.
Wattoo termed it a personal opinion of Raja Riaz, saying that there was no party policy of removing the Mehmood from his office in the Punjab assembly.
