KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh AD Khowaja on Tuesday ordered extraordinary security in Sindh province, following a bomb blast in Quetta. IGP directed all DIGs to make extraordinary security arrangements in the province, especially focusing on sensitive places of the government and private sector including railway stations, airports, shopping centres, markets, hotels, and worship places.
He directed the officials to get in touch with intelligence and other law enforcement agencies to share and get any information regarding any suspected person or any criminal activity.
Khowaja asked officials to carry out all possible measurements for security and ensure random snap-checking and patrolling in their respected areas near mosques and other worship places.
All SSPs would lead the security arrangements in their districts and they are allowed to make surprise visits, where the police cops would be deployed.
