More then 50 petitions have been submitted in the Supreme Court, Karachi Registry, against no- go areas in various parts of Karachi. All petitions were submitted by people belonging to Mohajir Qaumi Movement, praying previous SC order may be implemented for removing no- go areas in Karachi.
The petitioners stated that Gandhi, Orange, Shah Faisal and other areas were still made no- go areas which created trouble for the people despite SC orders for removal of such things. Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, IG Singh and DG Rangers were made parties in the petitions.
