Sikandar Ali Dhandoori, Chairman EOBI, SESSI & SWWB Sub-Committee of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry in a press statement has expressed his deep concern over the non-provision of text books and uniforms to students of the SWWB High School, SITE, Hyderabad although the academic year is going to end. Dhandoori urged the Chairman Sindh Workers Welfare Board (SWWB) and other officials concerned to look into this serious matter as the education is fundamental right of every rich and poor child.
He said that the Government of Pakistan was working hard to provide education to poor students and had given proper guidance but the SWWB was overlooking all measures and depriving poor students of their basic rights.
He appealed to the Ministry of Human Resources Development to look into the matter and appoint honest officer for carrying out inquiry into corruption made by the SWWB, Hyderabad.
Dhandoori further said that the doctors working in Social Security Hospital and dispensaries were not punctual, causing serious problems for poor patients. Medicines were not being provided to patients either, he added and urged the authorities concerned to take stern and appropriate action in this regard.
