President of the Republic of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at a meeting in London on Wednesday discussed economic and bilateral co-operation between the two countries. Both sides vowed to work closely on promotion of bilateral trade‚ avoidance of double taxation‚ and social sector development.
Jahjaga sought Prime Minister's support for getting membership of her country in the Organisation of Islamic Conference and the Prime Minister assured to support Kosovo in this regard. She also congratulated Nawaz Sharif on assuming the office of Prime Minister for third time.
The President of Kososvo invited Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to visit Kosovo which he accepted. The Prime Minister also extended an invitation to Jahjaga to visit Pakistan to which she agreed.
