An unknown woman on Thursday abducted a new-born baby from Pakistan Institute of Medical Science (PIMS). Hospital sources said that a woman, Saira, hailing from Abbottabad, gave birth to a baby through operation on Wednesday night. Later she was shifted to the hospital ward. A woman who claimed to be the maternal aunt of the new-born stayed with the mother of the child throughout the night. The woman disappeared along with the baby on Thursday morning and did not return, sources said.
Police registered an FIR and started search to arrest the accused.
