At least three persons were killed and few others injured in armed groups clash here on Thursday. According to police armed men of two groups hailing Rorriya Jadeed area of Mardan were involved in old enmity due to various disputes, traded fire. As a result, three persons were killed on the spot while some others sustained wounds.
The police reached the scene after the incident. Panic and fright gripped the area after the triple murder and the people remained restricted to homes due to heavy firing. The dead bodies and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police registered a case against armed men of both groups and started investigation.
