Khidmat-e-Khalaq Foundation, a charity and welfare wing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) distributed grocery, mehndhi (hena), bangles, lamps and other relief goods among the deserving women belonging to Hindu community on the occasion of Diwali, on the instruction of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain.
The ceremony was held at KKF central office in Federal B- Area, which was attended by a large number by mothers, sisters and young girls of Hindu community, according to a statement issued by Muttahida here on Thursday.
The ceremony was especially attended by the party's minority wing members Gardhari Lal, Mrs Mangla Sharma, MQM (Women Wing) members Dr Fauzia Hameed, Farhat Jehan, Noor Jahan Zaidi, Shahana Ashar and Shahid Nisar.
The women belonging to Hindu community expressed their heartiest gratitude to Altaf Hussain.
