Leader of business community and former president FPCCI, S M Muneer, has expressed hope that the government will provide all possible facilities to encourage investors to establish new ventures to help create more jobs Talking to newsmen, after inaugurating J B Saeed store at DHA Phase 6, he pointed out that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is a businessman and he understands problems of business very well.
He expressed hope that government will remove all obstructions coming in the way of economic revival. Expressing satisfaction over increasing construction activities in the city he said that this store will fulfil requirements of hardware and construction material of the area residents.
He said at present Pakistan imports numbers of items including hardware items and emphasised that efforts should be made to produce these goods locally. He urged the government to stop frequent increase in power and gas tariffs President Industrial Alliance, Mian Zahid Husain said resident of DHA will get quality and standard products at reasonable price from this international standard store He emphasised the need of producing value added goods locally to save foreign exchange as well as crate more jobs. He urged the government to provide incentive to local investments in new value added manufacturing projects. Nadeem Kushtiwala while briefing about the store said that the store was established to provide shopping facility of all required goods under one roof.
