Some unidentified persons took away ornaments, cash and valuables worth Rs 2.5 million from the residence of Rauf Tahir, former advisor to Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and eminent journalist on Friday night. According to details, spouse of Rauf Tahir is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of a local hospital since last few days and no one was at home at the time of theft.
