KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 24,680.46 points with a negative change of -173.52 and volume of 93,833,200 shares. High and Low were 24,886.97 and 24,643.34 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 5 were up, 24 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 180,707,520 shares. Total companies traded were 393 of which 132 were positive, 237 were negative and 24 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 41,278,520 shares. It was followed by Cable and Electrical Goods with a total traded volume of 21,025,750 shares.
