An upward trend was witnessed on the forward cottonseeds oilcake market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealers said. The December vaida closed at Rs 953.00 and it opened with a rise of 50 paisa at Rs 953.50 in the morning session, they said. The January contract closed at Rs 1140.00, it also picked up by 30 paisa at Rs 1050.30 at open, they said.
