Provincial Minister for Forests, Wildlife and Fisheries Maj Shahnawaz Badar (retd) has said that the main aim of holding walks and functions against dengue is to provide necessary message and information in every house, street, mohallah and area to ensure dengue elimination.
The Minister was addressing Anti-Dengue Day seminars and walks held at the Department of Forests, Wildlife and Fisheries, which was attended by high-ranking officers of the departments, Dr Samel and a large number of the department employees. He said the purpose of Anti-Dengue Day is not to read pamphlets and hear lectures, but to take preventive measures in this regard.
