District Officer Social Welfare Faiz Ahmad Warriach here said that three seminars and ten walks have been arranged in nine towns by the Social Welfare department, while two awareness camps were also set up. He said that awareness pamphlets have been distributed in four different areas of Lahore, while survey was also conducted. He said two awareness sessions against dengue disease were also arranged while social welfare officers conducted survey of 12 union councils of Wahga Town.
He said that health workers, teachers, students, medical officers and staff of social welfare attended it enthusiastically. Faiz Ahmad Warriach said that anti-dengue campaign would continue as well.
