The Lahore High Court here on Monday sought reply from Punjab government by November 6 in a petition of former director general of health department Dr Tanvir challenging his suspension. The petitioner submitted that an inquiry into deaths by measles held by the provincial government had cleared him from charges of negligence.
He said that the government, however, suspended him without any reason. He, therefore, prayed to the court to set aside the notification of his suspension and order his reinstatement.
