Continued efforts to make a strong liaison between Punjab University and other institutions, ORIC Punjab University and IRP arranged a visit of a group of faculty members accompanied by Directors of Department of Chemical and Material Engineering of Nust, Islamabad at Seminar Hall of ICE&T.
Dr Amir Ejaz, Director Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology along with other faculty members welcomed the delegation. On the occasion, a special presentation was delivered on "Lead Acid Battery Recycling Plant." The faculty members of Nust and ICE&T gave recommendations for improving the efficiency of the process to ensure the safe working environment. PU ORIC management had a meeting with Nust faculty members and different industrial groups including Shafi RESO Chem, Cakes and Bakes, Packages, ATS organised by IRP. The participants discussed the role of ORIC in bridging the gap between the industry and academia.
