ISE index improves by 48.74 points

Bulls dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Wednesday, where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 48.74 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,362.38 to 4,411.12 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 664,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 231,500 shares.
Total 139 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (105) closed in positive territory, 34 closed in negative territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels.
The volume of PTCL was 500,000 shares. The volume of Lafrage Pakistan Cement was 107,000 shares. The volume of Fatima Fertiliser was 50,500 shares.
