A high level security meeting of Operational Committee was held at HQ Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Thursday. The meeting was presided over DG Rangers Major General Rizwan Akhtar. The meeting discussed the ongoing drive against criminal elements and security measures during Muharram-ul-haram. The meeting also discussed recent rise in target killing of individuals of different sects.
Earlier DG Rangers Major General Rizwan Akhtar also held meeting with the heads of intelligence agencies, during the meeting intelligence about the hidden hands behind recent killings was discussed, it was emphasised to expedite the efforts in nabbing the conspirators.
