At least five people were killed in separate incidents of violence on Thursday, police and rescue sources said. A body of youngster was found in Behar Colony, Lyari in the limits of Chikiwara police station. The victim was later identified as Nadir, 16, son of Abdul Qadir. He received multiple bullets at his body. The body was moved to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.
The gun battle between two groups of Lyari gang war continued for last 24 hours. On Wednesday late night two people were trapped in gun battle, leaving three people killed at Gulistan Colony, Mirza Adam Khan Road. The victims were identified as Kamran, 14, son of Amjad Ali and Musthtaq, 15, son of Nazar Hasan. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.
Similarly, another youngster named Abid, 22, son of Ali Asgar was gunned down at D Road Behar Colony in the limits of Chikiwara police station. The body was moved to CHK for autopsy. Meanwhile, a body of man was found in Ghans Mandi area in the limits of Napier police station. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained till filing of this report. The body was moved to CHK for autopsy.
